What the tool does, exactlyKeys from the header
Each row becomes an object keyed by the column names. Blank names become “column_1” and repeated names get a suffix such as “name_2”, so no value is overwritten.
Types without surprises
With type detection on, numbers and true/false become JSON numbers and booleans and empty cells become null. Values with leading zeros, such as ZIP codes and IDs, stay as text so nothing is lost.
Private by design
The file is processed in your browser and never uploaded, so it’s safe for customer lists and financial exports.

About csv to jsonWhat if my file has no header row?
Turn off “First row is a header” and you’ll get an array of arrays instead of objects.
Are empty rows included?
No. Rows with no values are skipped so they don’t become empty objects.
Does it handle quoted commas and line breaks?
Yes. Quoted fields are parsed according to RFC 4180, including commas, quotes and line breaks inside values.
